SmartNews offers several types of alerts to ensure you stay informed according to your interests. You can manage these by navigating to the Profile tab, tapping the Settings (gear icon), and selecting Notifications.
Scheduled Pushes: These are curated headlines sent to you at specific times throughout the day to inform you about what is going on around the world.
Breaking News: Immediate notifications regarding important or urgent news unfolding at this moment.
Local Updates: If you have set up your local news preferences, you can receive updates about news happening in your specific area.
Personalized Picks: These are recommendations delivered to you based on your unique reading habits and the SmartNews algorithm.
Point Campaigns: These notifications provide information about SmartNews points giveaway campaigns, where you can earn rewards by completing missions like launching the app or reading articles.
