Our email login uses a password-less design to keep your account secure without requiring you to remember a password. This allows you to access your account via a code or link sent directly to your email address. When you enter your email address in the app, we will send a one-time code or a login link directly to your inbox. Simply click that link or enter the code in the app to be logged in automatically.
We recommend using the email login option for the most consistent experience across your devices.
How to Sign In or Create an Account
The process is the same whether you are a new user or returning to an existing account:
- Open the SmartNews app on your mobile device.
- Tap the Profile icon.
- Tap one of the 3rd party icons (Google, Apple, or Facebook) or select Email.
- Enter your email address or follow the login credentials for your chosen 3rd party account.
If you chose email login:
- Check your email inbox for a message from SmartNews.
- Tap the login link in that email or enter the one-time code provided into the app.
Important Note on Missions
Mission points are specific to each individual account. Please be aware that mission points cannot be transferred between accounts.
