The Guest Profile Risk: If you earn points as a guest (without logging in) and later try to sign into an existing account on your new phone, the points may not be transfer correctly
Loss Prevention: Guest points will not transfer over during an account merge and cannot be recovered manually by customer service. To preserve your local guest balance when registering for the first time, make sure to select the option to create a new account directly from that prompt screen.
